Working or holidaying in London, Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire? Fed up with hotels and want your own luxurious space at a similar price? Moving house? Family visiting? Eight Clayton House is a stylish one bedroom apartment available for short term rental, set in Harpenden town centre.
Our usual terms are a minimum 7 day rental at £105 per night but please don’t hesitate to enquire about shorter periods as we may have some occasional nights available to fill in. Please telephone or email us to discuss your requirements.

Its central location is just minutes away from the mainline station with direct links into London (27 minutes), St Albans and Luton Parkway for the airport, restaurants, bars, coffee houses and pubs, supermarkets, swimming pool and well equipped gym.
This stylish urban apartment is located in Vaughan Road, just 3 minutes walk to Harpenden train station which offers a 27 minute journey into London. It is well positioned for Luton Airport (just 6 miles away) accessible from Harpenden by bus, train or taxi.
The apartment’s central location means it is just minutes from bars, pubs, restaurants, coffee houses, supermarkets, shops and leisure centre.

Harpenden
Harpenden is an affluent commuter town with a direct rail service into London St Pancras. The M1 (junctions 9 and 10) is nearby and Luton airport is only 6 miles to the north.
There are three supermarkets and many bars, pubs and restaurants within minutes of the apartment. Harpenden Leisure Centre which has a swimming pool and full gym facilities is a 5 minute walk away. The central area of Harpenden known as ‘The Village’ is characterised by Church Green, Leyton Green and the High Street Greens which give this pretty town it’s provincial feel.
Harpenden Common covers 238 acres and has 2 cricket clubs, a football club, bridle ways, ramblers paths and Harpenden Common Golf Club.

St Albans
St Albans is a unique Cathedral City only 10 minutes away. The city’s colourful history is all around you with Roman ruins, a Medieval clock tower and the stunning Abbey.
There is fabulous shopping and a large street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Harpenden train station has a regular fast service into London St Pancras, home to the Eurostar Terminal, making travel between Europe and Harpenden simple and speedy. The train service runs between Bedford and Brighton offering direct journeys to Luton Parkway Station (for the Airport) in 6 minutes, Gatwick Airport in less than 90 minutes and Brighton for the seaside in just over 2 hours.

The vibrant capital city has so much to offer both day and night. London contains four world heritage sites: the Tower of London, the Palaces of Westminster, Kew Gardens and Greenwich.
Other famous landmarks include Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, the O2 and the Shard. London is home to numerous museums, art galleries and 48 West End theatres.

The M1 and M25 are nearby, providing easy access by road to Luton Airport and Heathrow Airport.
