33rd Oxford (Kidlington) Scout Group

General information

Friends of the 33rd is a virtual community of current and former members of our Scout Group, as well as individuals and businesses in the wider community. Set up to help communicate and advertise our fund raising activities and to help manage our "Skills Bank" to encourage people to offer their skills and expertise in whatever way they are able in order to benefit our Scout Group.

33rd Oxford (Kidlington) Scout Group is currently raising funds for essential maintenance on our Scout centre and to update equipment so we can continue to help hundreds of young people in our community enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Kidlington is the home of the 33rd Oxford (Kidlington) Scout Group. Kidlington is the largest village in Europe with a population of 14000+. We are very proud to provide scouting and adventure for young people aged 6 to 18. We are a totally inclusive organisation and have 300+ young people. We have our headquarters building in Kidlington and a boating base in Wolvercote. Our Sea Scout Troup is one of only 103 groups to be recognised by the Royal Navy which is very prestigious and speaks volumes for our leaders, young people and the activities they enjoy.
