City Sessions Studio

General information

The studio's ethos is to capture the best possible sound, whilst retaining the emotion and energy of a real live performance. After all, music is brought to life by an audience.

City Sessions Studio is the ideal place for anyone to realise their creative vision, whether it be voiceover work, vocal with backing track, or band looking to record and mix a single, EP or full album.
All recording, mixing and mastering can be done in-house.

Joe Bulmer is a highly qualified Engineer/Producer who has combined his two passions of live music performance with studio recording in order to build (yes, actually build from the ground up) City Sessions Studio. He has combined his experience working on live session films with www.citysessions.co.uk , and his work in various studios. In order to help artists realise their musical vision, without forcing a music industry dictated Producer "Sound" on artists.
Joe and long time collaborator Matthew Lawes (www.matthewlawes.co.uk) also write and record music/Sound design for film and television (contact us for details if interested in this service).

The studio has good sized live and control rooms with good sight lines throughout. As well as a spacious and tranquil garden area for relaxing between takes.

Another aim of the studio is to provide the very best possible product at an affordable price.
Basic studio rates include qualified Engineer/Producer and access to all available instruments and equipment (see website for full equipment lists):

£25 per hour.
£150 per full day (10am to 8pm).
£500 per week (5 days).

Always contact us about pricing as we like to approach each project individually.
Block bookings of more than a week can be negotiated on request for a further discount.
Session musicians can be provided for an extra fee (contact us for details).
