Living Aikido Club

Welcome!

We are a small, friendly club based in ....... North Devon. We welcome everyone to our club, as everyone that comes in has something to offer, regardless of their age, ability and whether they have previous experience or not.

The club practises Ki Aikido, which is a dynamic style of Aikido that focuses on the energy involved in a technique as well as the proper way to execute the technique.

The club is a member of Aikido for Daily Life (ADL) and affiliated to the British Aikido Board (BAB), the governing body for Aikido in the UK.

The Living Aikido Club shares the same ethos as the ADL and invites all forms of Aikido and martial arts to the club. It also actively supports and encourages its students to attend seminars and courses run by other clubs and associations, such as the ADL. Thus, breaking down barriers so that its students can thrive and benefit from gaining knowledge and making new friends along the way.

The club works on a non-profit basis. Any profit made goes back into maintaining it (e.g hall fees) or organising events for students.
It offers a safe and enjoyable environment to practise in.

All instructors hold coaching certificates, first aid certification, DBS checks and are insured by the British Aikido Board.

We invite all members of the public from all walks of life to attend our classes and, as always, your first lesson is FREE!
