At Ruff and Tumble Dog Walking we are passionate about dogs. Our service is designed to make your life easier.
With most households now having both parents working full time hours with children at after school clubs, child minders or nurseries. Leaving your beloved dog home alone for long hours is a problem we can help with. We can offer your dog a half hour walk up to an hours walk for the days that you are out for long periods. All dogs will be dried off and given fresh water after walks. As a dog care provider we can also take care of walking the dogs of people that struggle to get out of the house, or have just had an operation and need time to recover. Dogs left for long periods can start to show unwanted behaviours from separation anxiety to barking, defecating in the house or chewing furniture. These behaviours are eliminated by exercising the dog on the days he will be left. We also offer dog sitting for elderly dogs and puppies that just need a toilet break, short walk, play time, food and fresh water and medication. Pet taxiing is another service offered for people that do not have access to a vehicle to get their dog to veterinarian or grooming appointments. Pet sitting is a new service added. Have your pets looked after in your own home while you're away instead of putting them into kennels. You can be rest assured your dog will be in good hands we are DBS checked (formally CRB) and have public liability insurance. We have certificates for these and for relevant training diploma courses in canine pet care and business, along with dog first aid and carry a first aid kit at all times. These can be seen at a meet and greet with your dog prior to contract of our services.

Dogs are part of the family and not liking leaving ours while we both set off for work each day told me there is a need for this service. Having four dogs of our own, an elderly Samoyed, a mischievous Westie and two stray rescue dogs from Romania and Cyprus it was evident that I would be working with dogs at some point in my life. I have worked in healthcare for the past eleven years.
