Katy Ferrari Designs

General information

I specialise in illustrative surface pattern and design. I grew up in the East Sussex seaside town of Eastbourne, where I have brought up my own family, surrounded by the English Channel, the South Downs and beautiful Sussex countryside, which has undoubtedly influenced my designs.

I was fortunate to be able to spend three very happy years studying surface design as a mature student and graduated from University of the Arts London in 2015 with a first class honours degree. Alongside the University degree show I exhibited at New Designers in London, which resulted in a number of freelance commissions from companies, which include Papyrus and Graduate Collection.

I enjoy working at Katy Ferrari Designs from a home studio in Eastbourne, which is the perfect work space for me to create new illustrations and designs. As well as designing for my own labels, “Dottie and Luca” and “Oh Baby” I enjoy working on collaborations and commissions, which allow me to develop my illustrative pattern design. Recent collaborations include In The Doghouse and Eastbourne Tourism Centre.
