Our historical Edinburgh tours have been expertly designed to bring the past to life through a combination of visual resources and well researched, well delivered stories.

We take your satisfaction very seriously. Each guided tour is limited to 25 places. We use both guides to ensure that you will have ample opportunity to ask us questions as we walk between locations.

This personal touch, not offered by most companies, aids group safety and organisation. This helps us keep everyone together so that no-one misses any stories. We can also offer 'shortcuts' for anyone who cannot physically manage the full tour route.Historic Edinburgh Tours are currently discussing ways we can help market the Edinburgh Museums, such as the fantastic Museum of Edinburgh (Huntly House for those visitors of old!), the People’s Story (in the Canongate Tolbooth) and the Writer’s Museum to name a few.Unlike many ‘free tours of Edinburgh’ we are fully licensed with the City of Edinburgh Council, we’re a legitimately registered company with Companies House and we have comprehensive insurance.
