General information

I am a registered and fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Person Centred Therapy focuses on understanding what life is like from a client's point of view rather than offering pre-canned solutions to their problems. I tailor the approach to the client's specific needs and place them at the centre of their own counselling experience.

In the counselling room I take an active part by attentively listening as we explore the challenges that the client is facing and the changes they wish to make. This exploration creates understanding and the client begins to experience more balance, enthusiasm and a renewed energy for life.

What makes me different to other counsellors is that I have had direct experience of being a client when I was diagnosed with post-natal depression. This positive experience motivated me to train and inspired me to help others who might be in a emotional pain.
