General information
Our County HQ is based at Holcombe Moor Training Camp in the hills outside Bury and is co-located with the Colonel Mary Creagh Cadet Training Centre - a purpose-built complex which can house and feed 200 Cadets and Adult Instructors. The building also provides indoor training space and is home to one of our Cadet Detachments.
The outside training area includes ranges, a patrols alley and an assault course (for those who are old enough, it was once home to the "Krypton Factor" course.
We also make use of the surrounding countryside for adventurous training.
The Centre is also used during the week and occasionally at weeks by units of the Regular and Territorial Army.
