Martial Arts Uniting Ladies

General information

The scarce number of women in martial arts, like in most sport, is absolutely ridiculous.
MAUL offers a women-only program for all women to learn and train in traditional martial arts amongst like-minded, inspiring warriors. We empower one another each day as we all aspire to improve our martial arts skills. We train as a team: pushed, dragged, and likewise pushing and dragging our teammates. We are united, from the first day a student arrives.

In addition to this women-only program, we now offer a children & families program (MiNi-MAUL) to further the global mission of all martial arts, i.e. martial arts for everyone!, as well as provide a martial arts space wherein women are the leaders. This atmosphere of women in charge provides a fantastic example for MiNi-women and MiNi-men, contributing to a future atmosphere of respect and equality both in and out of the Do-Jang. Furthermore, this provides a platform for parents to train alongside their children (awesome!) as well as circumvent the obstacle of finding childcare that often prevents adults, particularly women, from joining adult clubs.
