General information

Boaca (Bradford on Avon Community Agriculture) established in 2008, is a co-operatively run growing project in Wiltshire. Using organic methods (no pesticides or chemicals) we grow a wonderful variety of vegetables, herbs and apples.

For several years we have been running a fantastic veg box service to the Bradford on Avon area, providing tasty, seasonal and low-cost local vegetables direct from our slightly muddied hands! For busy lives, our veg boxes are ideal for providing regular nutritious ingredients and are a fun way to create new meal ideas.

We have a beautiful site, and welcome volunteers to visit and gain some experience working on a organic gardening site. We love having helpers, particularly Wednesdays, our veg box day. We will be starting up volunteer days on Sundays in 2015.

We are currently offering a Pick Your Own membership scheme. Pay £20 and get a full tour of the site which explains where all the produce is, how to pick, where we keep bags, all the prices etc. For your convenience, you can then pop up whenever you have spare time and collect the array of vegetables of your choice!
