General information

We are providers of a Commercial EPC's & Air Conditioning Energy Inspections in Hampshire and Birmingham. All commercial property that is sold or let must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) commissioned prior to, or within 7 days of being put on the market. There is a further 21 days allowed for the completion and acquisition of the EPC after which time fines can be imposed.

I will visit the property at a time that is convenient to you, normally within 48 hours and carry out a full commercial EPC survey.

I will assess the property and produce the certificate with 48 hours of this survey. I will then send the certificate by email to yourself, your agent or solicitor. You can also have a copy by email if required.

A Commercial EPC can cover a wide variety of properties including shops, offices, care homes, factories, showrooms and garages. We can provide your EPC for any of these types of building.

Please remember that you should organise your EPC before you market your property. You can be fined between £500 and £5,000 based on the rateable value of the building if you don’t make an EPC available to any prospective buyer or tenant.

If you’re buying a commercial property in Hampshire then the person selling the property must provide your solicitor with a valid commercial energy performance certificate. If you are renting then the landlord or the letting agent must show you the EPC.

Additionally, if Air Conditioning has been installed in your building with a greater cooling output of 12kW, you will need to arrange with us an energy inspection to be carried out on the system.
