General information

Hello I am Tom, Owner of Spokes and Gears. I set up Spokes and Gears to provide a professional, trustworthy and reliable mobile repairs business to serve the cyclists of Lancashire. Whether that be the daily commuters, weekend group riders or those who have just dragged their old bike out of the shed after a few years. I cover road bikes, mountain bikes, children’s and family cycles right through to carbon racing cycles and custom hand wheel building and truing.
I have been tinkering with bikes since the age of 13 and progressed over the years into a Level 3 Cytech Master Technician. I am the former Workshop Manager at The Green Jersey in Clitheroe and former Workshop Manager at GIANT in Twickenham.
I am based in the village of Great Eccleston, just outside Preston. Being mobile, I can call in at your home, work or race event, wherever is convenient for you. I also offer a pick up and drop of service for those specialist jobs.

I offer tailored 1 to 1 maintenance courses to suit the needs of the client, working on your own bike. Content can range from basic cycle maintenance and puncture repair through to a full strip down service.
