Seahouses Hostel Company Information
General information
Originally a girls’ school and the farm outbuildings of a former vicarage, Seahouses Hostel was converted to a hostel in 1989; an extensive renovation and new build was completed in early 2017 enabling you to enjoy a spacious, bright, comfortable and relaxing visit with exclusive use of our facilities.
We welcome visitors from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and interests. Over the years the hostel has proved ideal for:
• Schools and colleges
• Uniformed organisations
• Parish groups
• Community based groups
• Diocesan and deanery groups
• Youth groups
• Special interest groups
• Charities
• Conservation groups
• Retreats
The warden is available to advise on local areas of interest and can assist with the planning of programmes if required.
A visit to the hostel by leaders prior to staying is encouraged and worthwhile. Many of our visitors are groups who have returned regularly to stay with us and enjoy fellowship in pleasant and comfortable surroundings.
