General information

KitMapper was founded by artists and professionals with over 30 years' experience in the creative industries. Our team has worked on everything from touring sound and video installations and exhibitions to shoots, club nights, and concerts.

Between us we've amassed a lot of kit. Some of it we use regularly, some of it stays mainly on our shelves, and we've all benefitted from having a strong network of fellow professionals when there's been something missing. Then, around a year ago, we realised we weren't alone. All over artists and professionals find themselves calling in favours or paying a premium to rent kit that other people own but don't use all the time.

That's why we came up with KitMapper. We know first hand how useful strong networks can be, so we've designed one to help both those with kit and those who need it. We want to make things happen by creating cheaper rental solutions for individuals and institutions, introducing new revenue streams for small and large businesses alike, and making every investment in equipment an investment that pays off.
