Rainbow Preschool

General information

Rainbow pre-school originally opened in 1992 and is provided by a parent user committee. It operates from Falconwood Community Centre, in the London Borough of Bexley. Opening hours are every weekday from 09.30 to 12.30, and 12:45 to 2:45 on a Wednesday and Friday afternoons term time only. The pre-school is registered by Ofsted as 'good' on the Early Years Register and the compulsory and voluntary parts of the Childcare Register. A maximum of 24 children may attend at any one time. There are currently 34 children on roll. However a lot of our children are moving onto reception this September so we have availability for new starters for this September and January. Six staff work directly with the children, all have early years qualifications to NVQ level 2 and 3 and our deputy manager holds a BA Honours Degree in Education Studies. The setting receives support from the Bexley Early Years Department. The group is also a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PSLA). We accept children from the age of 2 and they are welcome to stay with us until they attend school. to access us to get an application form you need to go into the community centre car park and you will see a big garden area and conservatory, if you wait by the gates someone will come down to you. We welcome viewings and this can be arranged via telephone or email.
