General information
The Broughton war memorial institute was set up originally as a memorial to the fallen in the first world war and after in lieu of a cenotaph, it was utilised for the local school, had cricket slips,tennis courts and a playground with swings etc.
then a snooker room was added (which is now being converted into an exciting dance studio), the institute hosts a wide range of activities geared to all ages from pre-school to the more senior members of the community.
we are currently refurbishing the infrastructure of the institute to better serve the users and hirers in the village.
So pop along new faces are always welcome and who knows what you could end up doing!
