General information

When arranging wedding or any special occasion stationery, everyone is different, often unique in the style, design, colour matches that they prefer etc. Deciding to invest in handmade stationery is a lot more costly than nipping down to your local card shop and buying some invitations. It reflects you. It has a special meaning to you and is designed to be personalised to your requirements. Invitations are the first thing your guests will see. It sets the precedence for your complete journey in creating your perfect day therefore I see stationery as one of the most important aspects of your big day. My aim is to provide an outstanding service giving my clients my all, the best I possibly can with the highest of quality.
Ok. So, starting from the beginning, the initial enquiry, work starts, discussing options, designs, I ask a lot of questions to gain every detail to work out exactly what is required to have everything as perfect as I can (yes I am a perfectionist, especially when it comes to the business!). Yes this can be tedious but it needs to be done. Then there is potentially a sample to be made which is costly in itself particularly if new materials are required which cannot be purchased individually. Hours of work I am not paid for, to give you the best I possibly can. I am happy to do all of this to provide the service I rate myself on. I do not have a team behind me. I do not rush and I do not cut corners. I do not have a set price list as I believe in the fact that each and every client is individual. My prices are estimated on an individual basis and vary depending on the design, cost of materials, printing costs, the time taken to finalise the design, and time taken to produce and complete the required elements. I don't have any fancy machines (I am considering investing in something though ;)) everything I do is completely hand made and each invitation can take as much as an hour to complete if not longer, after all it is not just the invitation design that needs to completed, the inserts need to be made too which takes time.
I understand times are tough, believe me I know all too well how that can be, however I do not and will not substitute for 'cheap' and will not risk compromising the quality and service I provide.This description is aimed to give an insight into the work that goes on behind the scenes and to give awareness regarding the amount if work that goes into creating exactly what is required. It is not just a case of sticking a few bits here and there or taping some ribbon on.
