Education should be a positive experience where you learn and progress well. To get there we sometimes need a little bit of help.

I believe that with the right support all people can reach their full potential. It is important to find any gaps in knowledge, help fill them, meaning the student has a better understanding and is able to progress. Personal, private tutoring can significantly improve results.

Ashton tutoring provides a personalised learning programme for your young person.

•I am able to offer support to Early years, all Primary and Secondary subjects and levels including Special Need pupils.

I can provide support in the following areas:

•School work, Basic skills

•homework,

•projects ,

•revision, SATs and exam support

•sessions to avoid summer learning loss

•Everyone is unique and we all have different attitudes, interests, styles when it comes to learning. I recognise that some struggle with learning more than others and possibly need different strategies to help them with learning. Some students have been formally ‘labelled’ with Special Needs, e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, others struggle but don’t have a diagnosed or specific learning difficulty.

An hour of tuition with a qualified teacher, with 20+ years’ experience includes:
