White Rose Canal Holidays is a family-run, affordable canal holidays company based in the North of England. We offer amazing value-for-money holidays across a wide range of routes, with scenery to suit everyone!

Based inside the vibrant and bustling city of Leeds, you'll begin your journey surrounded by industrial heritage sites, with striking architecture at almost every stop. If you want the amenities that a large city has to offer, then you'll be able to moor just 15 minutes walk away from Leeds City Centre whilst still feeling like you're miles away. Half a day's cruising, in any direction, however, and you'll be in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside with the swooping curves of the Dales, the peaks of the Pennines and river and canal wildlife upon your doorstep.

You'll find our 45ft boat remarkably easy to handle - we'll have you up to speed in no time at all. With a maximum of 4 berths, our holidays are perfect for families, couples and of course your furry friends too (pets can holiday with you for free!). Although nimble, light and easy to handle, our boats are and will always be designed with ample living space in mind. A fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, TV, Hi-Fi and central heating systems will help you to feel at home, away from home.

If it's adventure you're after, then maybe you should try the Bingley 3 and 5-rise lock flights, just a few days away from our base. In the other direction, the Aire and the Aire & Calder navigations provide not only beautiful scenery but adventures and challenges of their own, including some impressively sized locks and the boats to fit them, too.

The Huddersfield Narrow Canal, although just under 20 miles long, has plenty to offer. Standedge Tunnel, at 5,200 metres in length, is the UK's longest canal tunnel and is an unforgettable experience, so long as you've got the lights turned on!

With any route you choose to navigate with us, you can take it at your own pace. If you want to push yourself and see what you can achieve, then the Pennines provide a steep incline to navigate. If you want to take it easy and visit the beauty spots, pubs and restaurants and to simply take in the nature and wildlife of the canal, then you'll be well catered for across the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and further.
