These luxury one and three bedroom cottages are nestled in the heart of the Trossachs National Park with breath taking views of Loch Katrine and the surrounding hills of Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Venue. Nearby villages of Callander and Aberfoyle are within easy reach and have a range of pubs, restaurants and shops. There are also leisure facilities nearby which offer a wide range of sporting activities. The pier in Stronachlachar is perfect for walking and cycling, with a friendly café serving hot drinks and meals. You can easily rent bikes from the pier on a daily basis for exploring the area. The Sir Walter Scott Steamship also does daily trips up and down the Loch which leaves from the Trossachs Pier on the south end of Katrine, and from Stronachlachar pier.

The properties are beautifully decked in solid hardwood flooring and residents can enjoy the cottage's modern comforts in an idyllic setting close by the Loch. The Rob Roy sleeps up to six people and the Jacobite sleeps two. Pets welcomed if agreed in advance.

Both cottages have central heating, double glazing, freesat, blu ray players, free wifi, Tassimo coffee machines and flat screen TV’s. There is little or no light pollution and as such the nights are extremely dark, with fantastic stargazing opportunities.

Rob Roy is a large 3 bedroom apartment complete with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, electric oven and induction hob, fully equipped kitchen, iron and ironing board with towels included.

Jacobite is a 1 bedroom apartment complete with a sofa bed in the lounge for additional guests. Also available are washer/dryer, built in microwave, electric oven and hob, fully equipped kitchen, iron and ironing board and towels included.

As well as hill walking, you can cycle on the private 12 mile Loch road, fish from a boat (permits needed), see red squirrels, deer, ospreys, pine martens…there are a few tracks ideal for mountain biking and several Munros within driving distance.
