The small museum at St. Bridget's Centre in West Kirby was founded in 1892 and renovated in 2013 to bring the collection to a wider audience.
The collection contains artefacts discovered on the site from Viking, Norman, Gothic and Victorian times. In the adjacent church is the notable Hog-Back Stone which is testament to the Viking's Christian presence in this location one thousand years ago.
The Museum provides a history of the Old Village of West Kirby, as well shedding light on life in Victorian schools.
