General information
The United Kingdom chapter was the first ICF chapter to be established outside North America. It came to life in early 2000 as a result of conversations held between ICF members from the UK Elizabeth Ferguson, Aboodi Shabi and Phillippa Fitzpatrick. The first UK ICF Board was a group of volunteers who passionately believed in the professionalisation of coaching – something our current volunteers still pride in today!
All our Board members are professional coaches and work on the board as volunteers.
