General information

“I believe that everyone is born to do something. In my instance I was born to be a hairdresser.”

Mobile Hairdresser, Wedding Hair, Prom Hair and Special Occasion Hair Specialist in Ilfracombe and across North Devon.

So I worked in salons for 10 years before realising that I could also impart my passion for hairdressing to others.

For the next 12 years I focused on this, working in further education and progressed from being a part time lecturer through to being the Head of a Hair & Beauty department with 500+ students.

Prior to my moving to Ilfracombe I was working as a hairdressing lecturer at the Lee Stafford Academy in Chichester alongside contacting with VTCT as a Hairdressing subject matter expert, writing educational material for the next generation of hairdressers alongside

My real passion though has always been the physical act of hairdressing so now I find myself back in a new “hands on” role to ensure that everyone can have “hair as special as the occasion”.

Fully insured State Registered Hairdresser with the Hairdressing Council

Qualifications

NVQ level 2 & 3 in Hairdressing, A1 Assessing and V1 Internal Verification of all hairdressing standards and qualifications. City & Guilds Advanced Cutting and Colouring. Toni & Guy Advanced Cutting and Colouring. One to one training with Lee Stafford and Sharon Blain
