It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words and this is so true when the people in that photograph are no longer with us. Sometimes a picture is the only link to our grandparents, great grandparents, ancestors and friends and often that image is all that is left. Plates and negatives become damaged and lost and fibre based paper, the norm in the past and rarely used these days were susceptible to damp and mould. It is possible to restore these images using a non destructive method that entails copying the image and repairing the damage digitally. This will then preserve that memory for our children and our children's children leaving the original untouched. So, don't let that memory fade and give me a call.
