Kilbroney Centre

General information

The Kilbroney Centre in Rostrevor is a residential centre run with a Christian ethos by the Church of Ireland in the Diocese of Down and Dromore. We aim to use the Centre to help provide a positive residential experience for groups staying with us. Especially, but not exclusively, those groups who work with children and young people.

The Centre is situated in 11 acres of grounds which have been designated a conservation area, with wonderful views, walks and space for open-air games and activities. It is 10 minutes drive along the coast from Newry in the village of Rostrevor at the foot of the Mourne mountains.

Kilbroney can provide for both catered and self-catered residential groups. The main Centre has 32 beds of which 14 are en-suite and 3 are disabled access. It also contains a large dining and kitchen area downstairs, a meeting room with adjoining small kitchen upstairs, a conservatory and a courtyard. There is also another self contained building with 40 beds, 4 of which are en suite complete with a small kitchen and dining room, a drying room and a small meeting room.
