Rav Sekhon Counselling

General information

I’m a qualified, integrative counsellor and also a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I currently run a private practice in the heart of Warrington.
The type of counselling I offer draws upon a number of theories and techniques, such as person centred, psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Gestalt. My way of working is influenced by these schools of counselling and is tailored in unique and individual way for each person. This means the counselling you receive will be tailored to what works for you.
The counselling I currently offer is for adults on a one to one basis, this takes place in the heart of Warrington town centre in a warm and welcoming environment.

Although I work with all adults, it’s worth highlighting that I’ve a specialist interest in working with males, and in addition people from ethnic minorities. The reason being that the research suggests that people from such demographics are less likely to access counselling, even though it’s evident that counselling is likely to help with an individual’s wellbeing.
I have studied culture and identity extensively and would really like to make an effort to reach out to those that aren’t particularly accessing counselling. I want to attempt to help people, so that they aren’t suffering silently.
