General information

Auburn College is a community interest company formed under co-operative principles to provide WordPress, English Summer, and Higher Education courses in the Media Arts – Radio, TV & Film to British Nationals and EU students. The college is an employee/member run social enterprise centered upon the principles of serving the community by bringing affordable education to those with academic proficiency, but that are financially challenged and/or contending with learning disabilities.

Auburn College provides affordable places of study: 1) by not incorporating stock holders with their endless pursuit for maximum returns and dividends; 2) through its horizontal management and compensation structure with close ratio pay caps; and, 3) by reinvesting the retained earnings back in its students via grants and scholarships on a performance/needs basis to reduce tuition cost; outside scholarships sources will further reduce tuition fees. College revenues go to the resources that support our students.

With these structures in place the college strategically positions itself as an attractive place of learning and holds a competitive edge over other academic institutions, as well as the necessary funds to take a proactive roll supporting those suffering with dyslexia.

Auburn College is now in a strategic partnership with BlazeFM, FusionFM, CafeViola, & TCNN. This coalition provides many opportunities for student traineeships and apprenticeships and enhances networking in the rapid growing Third Sector. TCNN provides ecologically responsible, human centered, and humanitarian focused news.
