General information

Hello, I’m Joanne owner of Retro Kids and mum to two pre-school girls Erin and Florence. Aside from their father, I have a love affair with retro design particularly from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and a fondness for Scandinavian design.

Retro Kids is an independent shop born out of my love of all things retro, colourful and a little bit of kitsch and quirky! What you will receive is a professional personal service with fast response and shipping with devoted customer care and gorgeously wrapped goodies to your door.

All products have been especially handpicked from very talented independent artists and established design-led brands and some smaller brands trying to break out into the market, all of which I am proud to promote and sell. It was important to me that all the products chosen were ethically produced and of outstanding quality too.

I choose items that I love and hope that you will love them too. I don’t stock anything that I wouldn’t be happy to have for our own children or give as presents to family or friends.
