Sinolo Travel

General information

Our name Sinolo Travel is derived from a contraction of two words; Sino is the name for China and “lo” is derived from Anglo, meaning the medieval word for England. Hence, we combine the two together to form the word “Sinolo”.

Our team originally explored other options for a name for the business which include Great Wall Travel, or its Chinese name "Cheung Sing", which means Great Wall. Cheung Sing is also the Chinese name of the founder. However due to copy right and Trade Mark restrictions Great Wall Travel was abandoned. Although we deeply thought that Great Wall Travel reflects the identity of the founder we had no option to leave this name.

We do recommend and provide tours to the Great Wall of China being the name of the founder; “Cheung Sing” or “Great Wall”.

Sinolo Travel is a new inspirational travel company catering for both Western and Chinese travellers and holiday makers.

We have selected destinations which our team of expert travel advisors consider will appeal to both Western and Chinese travellers.

Although Sinolo Travel can serve destinations outsider our portfolio of destinations (on request) we consider that our offering will provide inspiration to travelers to destinations new or for more experienced travelers.
