Fascia is a 3D soft tissue network that supports, protects and separates every other structure of the human body. Feeling for fascial restrictions is very different to feeling tightness in muscle and restricted fascia can create a whole myriad of symptoms which can go unrecognised by conventional testing. Therapists use their hands to release the tension within fascia therefor restoring balance, function and form.
