St. Albans Organ Theatre - a hidden gem!
A fascinating collection of unique self-playing musical instruments and two Theatre pipe organs.
Originally the Collection was owned by Charles Hart, who towards the end of his life, wished the Collection to remain available to the public and set up a Charitable Trust No. 276072. This is run entirely by volunteers.
The tradition of Sunday opening is still continued as Charles wished so that people of all ages can enjoy these unique instruments. Currently the Theatre is open every second Sunday March to November 2.00 p.m. - 4.30 p.m. There are also regular Theatre organ concerts and special events including Vintage Afternoon Teas.
