General information

Poverty is messy. Global Care has been getting its hands dirty for over 30 years. We invest in the most vulnerable children in already disadvantaged communities - including children with disabilities, child-headed families, children affected by HIV/AIDS, children from minority ethnic tribes or disadvantaged caste groups, street kids, slum kids, and children in remote rural locations. Education is in our DNA - we believe education is the most effective tool to break the poverty cycle for families for generations to come. So most of our projects focus on encouraging children to access education, through sponsorship or project partnership. We work with grassroots partners, mostly Christians, with a passion for supporting vulnerable children in their own communities. We provide our partners with resources, training and encouragement, enabling them to work amongst their own communities more effectively, and helping them to make their work more sustainable.
