RNLI Exmouth Lifeboat Station Company Information
General information
The RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) is the charity that saves lives at sea.
Here at Exmouth, we operate a new state-of-the-art Shannon-class lifeboat, R and J Welburn. Our lifeboat station also houses our D-class inshore lifeboat, George Bearman. In 2013 we launched 65 times, our inshore lifeboat alone launched 57 times.
Our lifeboat Souvenir Shop opens daily 10am - 5pm during the summer season and 11am-4pm during the winter season.
(Of course this all depends on the availability of our wonderful volunteers!)
We aim to respond to enquiries posted on our Facebook page as quickly as possible but we can't always guarantee to respond immediately (especially during a shout).
To make sure everyone using the RNLI Facebook page gets the most out of it, we ask that everyone sticks to these three simple house rules:
• No foul, inappropriate or abusive language
• Don’t give out your personal details
• And please don’t post adverts or other promotional material without our express permission
We will remove any posts that don't follow these guidelines and we may ban repeat offenders if necessary.
The RNLI is a charity registered in England & Wales (209603) & Scotland (SC037736). Charity number CHY 2678 in the Republic of Ireland.
