The Unknown Theatre Company was formed in 1997 as a young person's theatre company for young people aged 13 -25. The company performs musical theatre; both published works and commissioned new writing, as well as One Act Plays and Plays. They have appeared on stage locally, nationally (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 10 times) and Internationally (Japan World Festival Fusion, Kawaguchi, Monaco - World Festival of Theatre, France - St Avertin Youth Theatre Festival, New York - Performance at 'The Fame School -La Guardia High). They constantly strive to provide the highest standard of training and production values, working to a professional standard. This equips their cast members with skills and experiences for those wishing to go on to drama schools and confidence and skills that will benefit them in their daily lives. We are not a stage school - but rather a young people's performance theatre.
