General information

City Hospice is the major provider of specialist home based palliative care for Cardiff. We are consultant led as well as providing specialist nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, welfare rights and social workers, pre and post bereavement counseling including children’s bereavement groups and complementary therapies. All of this is provided for free. Every year as a charity, we need to raise the majority of our 1.4m service costs. We do this through all sorts of fundraising events, coffee mornings, fun runs and through the fantastic support of community events. We receive on average 13 new patients a week.
