Yard Gallery

General information

Back in the Summer of Love, two hip young dudes (named Nicki and Jim) were listening to Neil Young and Crosby, Stills and Nash. One day they tried to catch the Marrakesh Express, but when they realised it didn't stop in Belfast they re-thought their plan. Instead they caught the express to Holywood.

On arrival they knew they'd found their home, the skies were blue, the sea was gently lapping, and the folk seemed warm and accepting.

And so it was here that they decided to open Yard Gallery. With the hopeful dreams of their youth they set about to create a contemporary art gallery with original, innovative and affordable artwork which was accessible to everyone.

Since then we have continued to support the work of both established and emerging independent artists/designers, showing their work in our bright, purpose-built (and we think rather lovely) gallery space.

We also have a wide range of limited edition prints, jewellery, accessories, cards, homewares and some other random bits and pieces that we magpies have accumulated along the way...
