Saol Ur Sure Start

Supporting families with young children to ensure they have the best possible start in life.
Sure Start is the Department of Education’s programme to deliver the best start in life for every child by bringing together early education, childcare, health and family support.
Sure Start does not replace existing early years services but aims to build on what is already there in the community, bringing services together in a way that helps families find the support and advice they need. Saol Úr Sure Start works in partnership with a number of local community, voluntary and statutory organisations, with the Upper Springfield Development Company as lead and accountable body.
Our project covers the ward areas of Upper Springfield, Whiterock and Falls Park.  If you have a child under four or if you are pregnant and you live in one of these ward areas you can register with us and receive our services free of charge. You do not need to be in receipt of any benefits. It doesn't matter whether you are working or not, or what your family income is.
