We are a high-class, professional boarding kennel and doggy day care service that gives you peace of mind, whilst you go on holiday or have a fun day out. With Birch Bark you can enjoy your well – earned break, guilt free in the knowledge that your beloved pet will be looked after to the highest standard of care. Dogs, cats, birds and indeed other small caged animals are welcome at Birch Bark too and family members will be allowed to remain together as requested by you.

We will ensure your pet stays in a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment and is provided with an excellent service that is delivered by caring, dedicated, experienced staff on a 24 hour basis. Security and surveillance are also provided 24 hours a day.

Birch Bark is located in a peaceful, rural, idyllic setting in the heart of the Orchard County. It is within walking distance of Peatlands Park and Derryadd Lake. The business is owned and run by Diane Turkington who has a lifetime of experience in keeping dogs. Diane was motivated to start Birch Bark as a business by her deep devotion to caring for dogs in a ground-breaking way and has an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Animal Care
