Fisher Law is a solicitors’ firm established by Shaun Fisher, a Ballymena native and Ballymena Academy past pupil. Having successfully practised in Belfast city centre for 25 years, he identified an opportunity to offer high class and specialist legal services which are easily accessible from anywhere in Northern Ireland, but particularly from throughout the Ballymena borough. Clients enjoy the ease with which the modern, welcoming offices in the grounds of the iconic Galgorm Castle are located and the abundance of free car parking facilities right outside the front door. A trip to your solicitor can be combined with a visit to any of the host of other businesses at The Courtyard and Galgorm area, the Moravian Settlement of Gracehill or lunch at Galgorm Golf Club or Creative Gardens.

We know that you may be deterred from seeking the services of a solicitor for two main reasons – cost and approachability. Fisher Law addresses those issues in the following ways:

Cost

We believe that it is unfair to expect you to pay for an initial assessment of your case, or for you not to be given an accurate quotation of the cost of the service we are providing. You may rest assured therefore that:

- Your first consultation is free
- You will be given a clear explanation of cost, and if possible, a fixed fee quotation
- Funding options, such as bespoke client retainer packages, Legal Aid, legal expenses insurance cover (BTE), and after the event insurance (ATE) will be explored with you
- We will assess the prospect of recovering costs from the opponent in a claim or dispute

Any queries you may have about the cost of the service you require will be dealt with promptly and transparently and without the addition of hidden charges or fees.

Approachability

Our location makes it easy for you to visit without navigating Ballymena’s busy traffic and paying car parking charges, for a space often an inconvenient walk from your destination. Pull up at our front door for free and avail of our open door policy. You will be made most welcome and, subject to appointments, will be able to see a solicitor if available.
