Avon Day Nursery

General information

We are one of the longest running nurseries in Coventry and have been established over 70 years.  We continue to have a consistent qualified staff team with majority of staff working in the nursery from 6 to 23 years.  We provide a homely environment where children can feel relaxed to explore, and join in many activities inside and outside the nursery.  We have a high regard to partnership with parents and value their contributions.  We offer 3 and 4 year old funded places and have recently started to accept 2 year funded places.  We have a lovely large garden that children enjoy spending time in and we grow our own vegetables and flowers each year that attracts wildlife into the setting.  We provide activities to cover all 7 areas of learning in the EYFS.  We have a high regard for inclusion in the nursery and have had many years experiences working with children with SEN and working alongside specialised agencies.  Dave our pet rabbit is also well regarded in the nursery and very well cared for by all the children.
