The Tech Dojo

General information

The Tech Dojo is a creative co-working space for tech entrepreneurs, the Pied Piper’s of Silicon Valley who are looking to get crazy and expand their concept and team without the price of Palo Alto, although we have a location there too.

We have created the space to enable tech entrepreneurs from the Portsmouth and Southampton area who live, eat and sleep code, development and design, to connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs who share the same passion for Tech who also want/need to tap into the business skills of the Dojo.

We are ideally looking for the techie who has an amazing work ethic and concept, who already has some dosh coming in and is probably already employing one or two people who were probably the friends/ping pong/drinking buddies from Uni. You are now looking for some serious creative space where you can get a little more serious, but not too serious!

So it goes without saying that we have the usual;
Chillout and lounge facilities with great wifi and Network
Kitchens on every floor with great coffee (and beer!!)
Flexible desk options, dedicated desk options, private offices
Networking events and evenings
And Pingpong!
But then we do this;

We can incorporate your business for you, help you with a great banking relationship, sort out your invoicing, payroll your staff, credit control your invoicing, we can even liaise with the Inland Revenue for you as they are pretty scary.

But it doesn’t stop there; We can then Mentor and Coach you, challenge you in ways you need challenging in. This is with our internal and external entrepreneurs who have been there, seen it and done it, worn the t-shirt and burnt the t-shirt; We can help you with time Management, forecasting and budgeting, growing the company, recruiting the right team and mapping this out, then there is Employment Law, eeeeek.

And it does not stop there;

We can even help you with dosh, mula, quarn….. Funding;
Seed funding for those smaller ideas that have mega potential
Then VC funding, for the bigger teams with even bigger ideas.....
And government growth grants and funding!
