General information

Here at the Hillside and Wymering Centre we work alongside local residents to build a programme with maximum benefit to ALL the local community.
You will be greeted by our polite and friendly reception staff who will be happy to answer any questions you have and show you around the spacious bright hall, two meeting rooms, the IT Suite and youth room.
Our aim is to bring the community together in a range of activities from our residents coffee mornings, table top sales and family fun day's that are organised by our group of amazing volunteers.
we have an IT suite offering free computer drop in sessions, work clubs, as well as structured learning and specific sessions for people with additional needs.
The centre aims to cater for young people from the baby and toddler group to homework clubs and 11 years plus activities at the youth club.
Hillside and Wymering Youth Club is open Monday to Friday 1-3pm and 5.30-9pm. It gives young people a place to go outside of school free of charge and offers them a sense of belonging. The activities and support from youth workers and volunteers allows young people to learn new skills, build confidence and resilience for the future - as well as have fun! It really can be life changing to come along and join in.
