Bournemouth Avionics Limited Company Information
General information
Bournemouth Avionics Ltd was founded in 2004 when the managing director (Brian Cook) decided to break away from his current employer. Based on his long time service within the UK military, (1983 to 1999), the company aimed to provide good quality avionic support for GA as scheduled, unscheduled and installation services.
Although now based at Lee On Solent (EGHF), BAL initially started life as a mobile service, (which can be still offered today) before moving into a workshop at Goodwood Airfield. The recent move from Goodwood September 2012, to Lee On Solent gives BAL a more flexible working environment, taking full advantage of the hard runway and large hard standing areas.
Although avionics remain the company’s specialty, the company has now been able to expand the services it offers at Lee On Solent. Please check out our Services page for details.
