General information
Showcase Gallery was the first major addition to Southampton’s emerging cultural quarter and is situated on the Guildhall city square, near the City Art Gallery and the Sea City Museum.
Showcase Gallery features contemporary visual art that encourages engagement, discussion and participation across the entire local community.
Showcase Gallery supports up-and-coming national and international artists by providing examples of the best contemporary art to inspire students and a wider audience. It embraces the idea of cross-disciplinary collaboration to highlight the creative talents of the University, highlighting contemporary ideas and seeking to engage the widest possible audience.
