General information

Green Garden Childcare Nature Nursery and Preschool, full and part-time childcare for children 10 months to 5 years old.

Our highly qualified and experienced team help your child to learn and develop their valuable pre-school skills, in our unique Nature Nursery. We are based in a Bitterne Manor House, set by River Itchen Beach and Clausentum Woodlands. Nature is on our doorstep.

Children in our care not only have the use of our cosy nursery setting stocked with a huge variety of toys and educational equipment, but they also get to explore the great outdoors allowing them to be taught without even realising they are learning!

We always use the ‘Learn Through Play’ method for teaching. Our high adult to child ratio also enables us to go on outings to parks, libraries, indoor play centres, the seaside, music groups and more.

Subject to availability we accept 2, 3 and 4 year olds with 15 and 30 hours government funding, pre-school sessions, childcare tax credits and to fit in with your ever-changing needs as a busy parent we can also offer flexible times to suit, whether that be full days, mornings, or afternoons.
