Envisioned in 2007 by the Gyalwang Drukpa, the head of the Buddhist Drukpa Lineage, Live to Love International is a consortium of secular non-profit organizations, focused on creating sustainable solutions to modern problems faced in the Himalayas, a region with one of the most fragile environments and unique cultures in the world.
During its brief five-year history, Live to Love International has already made a substantial mark with His Holiness receiving several international accolades for the Foundation’s work, including the United Nations “Millennium Development Goals Award” and the “Glory of India Award” presented by the President of India. Live to Love is also drawing support from well-known personalities like Michelle Yeoh and Amir Khan.
Live to Love’s mission focuses in five areas: education, health, relief aid, cultural heritage, and environment and sustainable development.
