Curious Science has a huge and growing selection of period scientific and medical props available for Film and TV prop hire. We regularly supply props for feature films, drama, documentaries, tv commercials, live events, exhibitions, photoshoots and theatre productions.

We can offer expert advice together with a friendly, reliable service and competitive rates. Curious Science is also available as a film location with unlimited use of the props on display.

Medically qualified adviser who is an expert on period medicine is available for on set guidance on procedures. If you cannot find the items you need on this site, give us a call, we may have it in stock.

Film sets now open for all types of filming 7 days per week.

Old operating theatre film set. An authentic tiled octagonal room with stained glass arch windows, working ceramic sluice and all the props you could need available on site.

Wood panelled consulting rooms film set. A detailed replica of a Victorian doctors surgery or consulting rooms, 14ft high ceiling with 2 shuttered bay windows ideal also as a barristers chambers film set or a private bank office set.

We rent these out at either an hourly or daily rate where the price includes unlimited use of props (as well as on sight parking for up to 10 vehicles, tea/coffee making facilities, space for makeup/costume set up) and for an additional charge we have an in house Art Director/Set Decorator who is available both on the day of shooting and for going through the brief and research work beforehand.
