Light 4 Life

General information

Light4life in a non-profit / non political organisation that was set up by a group of UK doctors and other health professionals to help those who are living in poverty and in desperate need of assistance across the world. None of the members receive any payment for their light4life activities. The group undertakes various projects , the first of which was and is an artificial limb and rehabilitation center set up in Ayub Medical Complex, Abbotabad , Pakistan which was started soon after the South Asian earthquake in Kashmir , Pakistan . Being members of the field hospitals and the mountain rescue teams, we helped victims soon after the disaster hit areas and then had started a comprehensive rehabilitation programme from the Ayub Medical Complex, Abbotabad, for those who had lost their limbs or been paralysed as a result of this natural disaster of an unthinkable magnitude.
