General information

Hot Money Studios was founded in 2006 by Music Producer/Songwriter/Engineer – Patrick Osei . Patrick entered the music scene in 2003 as producer ‘Bigshot’ when he stormed the UK Garage charts in 2003 with hits such as Stomp (No.1 in the BBC One Xtra chart for 3 weeks eventually selling over 10000 copies), Glitch and Deep Down. 2003 saw him nominated for Best 4×4 Producer at the Sidewinder’s People Choice Awards. He was then called upon by Mike Skinner from ‘The Streets’ to remix his second single ‘Don’t Mug yourself’ which eventually reached number 21 in the UK singles chart. His work in the underground UK Garage and Grime scene also saw his productions appear on compilation albums released on Major Labels like Virgin/EMI, Universal and Ministry of Sound. Using his experience working with major labels, Patrick aims to bring to same level of production value to help support independent recording artists worldwide with ‘Radio Ready’ music instrumentals.
